Exhibition on the Horizon

The moment we've all been waiting for is nearly upon us. On June 20th, Mark's exhibition at Bartram's Garden opens to the public. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required, so now is the time to mark your calendar and reserve your spot.

The curtains go up on Friday the 20th, from 5:30-8:30pm. Contact the Garden now to RSVP and see to it that they save you room. RSVP by emailing rsvp@bartramsgarden.org with guest names, mailing address, phone and email. Confirmation will be sent to your email address with exhibition entrance time.

The exhibition compiles months of artifacts, drawings, and assorted natural and unnatural objects collected and created by Mark Dion on his travels on Bartram's trail in the South, arranged in an eclectic display and capturing the essence of his journey. It will be on display daily from 12-4pm until December 6th (closed Mondays); admission cost $5 adult, $4 senior and student, children under 12 free but the opening only happens once. Miss it at your own risk!

Bartram's Garden is located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania minutes from Center City at 54th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard. Free parking. Visit by public transit, take the #36 trolley from City Hall. For driving directions click here.
